Hi all had my F5S (am sure its a clone) for 21 months now and had no problems with it, but just lately when 1st turned on most channels are blocky and freezing even BBC1 and 2 and ITV the SNR is only 7%, then after a while it is ok, me thinks it is time to replace it and would like to upgrade to a better box. Would like to pay between ?100 to ?150, many thanks all......

If your after a single satellite tuner receiver then something like a Zgemma S or perhaps a Zgemma 2S for twin satellite with possibility of recording onto external hard drive would be a good start also consider something a little quicker like the TM Nano-SE or a Vu Zero both same in specification and well built, Buy a cheap machine for dipping your toe into the enigma2 market then as you knowledge base extends buy a better machine

It could be that the tuner on the box is knackered but I would check lnb and dish and connections and cable condition as well before upgrading box.Comment
