I can't compare the Zgemma 2s against a Dreambox HD800 as I've never owned a Dreambox, however, I own a Zgemma 2s and one thing I will say, is that they are a lot better than any Openbox series of receiver. If you want any help or have any questions about the Zgemma 2s then just post them, I try my best to help.

Thanks for the replies I think I will order one Monday as they are pretty cheap, and I've had my dream box for a number of years so it's time for an upgrade as I can't seem to find any recent images for the dreambox, does TSmedia work ok on the Zgemma 2s ?

        Thanks

Very hit or miss (mostly miss) finding streams that work and can be painfully slow, I've read that adding a VPN can make it better, but I don't bother as I've got Kodi installed on my PC. Also the PC is a lot quicker than the Zgemma at finding streams that work.

You can try all the media streaming plugins (TSmedia/kodi direct, iptv player, mediaportal etc etc) but to be honest the zgemma is best used at a sat receiver with all the benefits of enigma2 running on it.

The box does nothing on it's own. All input and instruction is carried out by the user. The box makes no decisions that's all done by the human.

Hold on!!!!!!! You are blaming a box for something you have done. Your comments could easily be construed by newbies that the box is rubbish when in fact they are good value and a great starting point for anyone wishing to learn enigma 2 on a budget. I think my comment was very helpful by emphasising user error is the most common cause of problems with this hobby.
