    Hi all think my dish might of moved getting breakup on 4.8e viasat and hd channels 30w,the signal i get on bbc news world on 0.8w at mo is 75 % snr would this be about right with a 1m dish + black ultra single lnb in the N.W uk or should i be pulling in a better signal

    Which make of 1m Dish and Receiver are you currently using to gauge these readings

      thanks digicon dont no the make of dish but driven by a Digipower SG-2100 DiSEqC Motor on vu+solo (ferrari) cheers shaun

        Never been a fan of the tuners on the Clones mind you the originals fair no better either, 30 west channels should be Booming in your talking Mini dish to pick the channels up on that sat. As for 0.8? west then that sounds about right when you took the readings what where the outside conditions like

            which channels breakup on 30? west as i have seen a similar problem a few times with a Black Ultra on very strong Signals its as though the Tuner is getting swamped with far too much signal and the AGC is not controlling it correctly. It could also be something else as well

              hi digicon tvcine movies hd, hollywood, fox movies, hot (~~~~e) when i first set dish up signal was ok so thought signal was harder to get on these tp meaning been moved or harder to get in uk as some are like tv2 prem league 1-3 on 4.8e if that makes sense,thanks again didgicon

                some of those channels are on the High band frequency you dont happen to have a DECT phone plugged in near the receiver do you at all as this could cause interference

                    hi digicon moved the phone, signal went up about 2% still breakup prob the vu+ at fault thanks again mate
