Very strange, I know the image is OK because I have to FTP picons and other files to the Zgemma once the initial build is made, also telnet works correctly as I use this to disable the Crossepg update feature. The only advice I can think of is to try 'filezilla' for FTP transfers and 'putty' for telnet and see if that make any difference if it doesn't then all I can think of is your router or PC software fiewall is stopping connections between your PC and Zgemma.

A limitation of ABM, as there's only 9x regional ITV HD channels ie Granada, Meridian South, STV, UTV, Central west, Anglia east, London, Wales and the Generic ITV HD if your area isn't one of these ABM's scripting will tell it to swap for a nearby HD area for Tees area it will use Granada, which is no use to you, however, try this it might help;
Menu-setup-service searching-ABM then
-Delete Bouquets
-Providers and change the following;
Sky UK: Area to Tees Custom
Sky UK: FTA HD Yes
Sky UK: Swap Channels No
Green button to save and exit
- Scan
This will give you the following, all the Regional SD channels from 1 to 5 ie BBC NE&C and ITV Tynetees, all you FTA HD channels ie BBC1 HD and ITV HD will be in the FTA HD Bouquet (Channel5HD will be added soon), all other working HD channels will be in their appropriate bouquet ie sports or entertainment. ie BTsport and AMC
This is the best you can do with ABM, other options are to scan then manually edit the bouquets to move your channels to your liking via openebif interface or remote or remove ABM and try a different Plugin ie autobouquets e2
Once you're happy with your channel setup, then to set your startup channel
on the remote Fav then scroll to your startup channel then menu-set as startup serviceComment

No fix you just press ok again instead of exit. The first press of ok is a preview only you then select with the second press. Alternatively if you hold down ok it will zap and exit (changing channel instantly). If I know Martin035 he won't have strayed to far from the defaults

As happy_h says that is the default way but like most things on e2 it can be changed, on the remote;
Epg-menu-ok button (short) scroll to zap+exitComment

Yep, mine's occasionally doing the same, from reading thr Openatv forum it's a know bug, if Google's understanding of German is correct, hopefully a software update will sort it out or if I find a temp fix I'll post a new update on the forum.
Until then then only advice is reboot the box if you lose sound whilst changing the volume level on the remote.Comment

OpenATV 5.2 is still in beta stage and will be buggy. Get hold of an up to date 5.1 backup and install that which should make your sound issues go awayComment

The 5.1 version of my backup is here, dated 23 Feb so it quite recent, just install do a software update then rescan Autobouquetsmaker which will replace channel 5 with 5 HD.
