I would say a genuine VU box like the solo 2 or duo 2 or the new solo 4k are the best out there and have been for a while
no is the answer to your latter question, no box can do that, not one (except official boxes with official subscriptions) -

ALL is impossible, especially as 28e is barred on most HDand that I can receive all the live football and sports in HD please
so some is certainly possible and he probably gets these on his current box
a new box wont open any more than his existing box , but a VU is a much better box, that is a fact
