open ATV 5.1... Ok this is mental swapped the LNB even though my quad feed worked ok on Astra 28.2 with zgemma and works motorised on the dreambox, swapped to a single feed LNB same settings as before now the zGemma is moving the dish and working, when I set my dish up many years ago I did it to 1? West that's probably why it's throwing out with USALS settings, but I get good signal with Disq 1.2 how come it's working with one LNB and not the other?

It could be the Quad LNB you are using in question could be sapping more power than it should compared to a single LNB, also are there any other receivers attached to the quad and powered on at the same time this could also be a factor.

when you set the Zgemma up for Diseqc 1.2 did you do this from scratch as it may have been easier just copying over all the stored diseqc 1.2 positions and setting it up in the service searching menu

Thanks for the reply, the ZGemma, works perfect with a single feed LNB motorised, just not the quad feed only the Zgemma was on the quad feed LNB at the time i tryed, but the dreambox works motorised with the quad feed LNB with the ZGemma connected also, i'd need at least a twin feed LNB otherwise it's pointless having a twin tuner, anyone recommend a good twin feed LNB that works motorised with this receiver. Just can't understand why the dreambox works with the quad feed and the ZGemma doesn't. But the ZGemma works perfect with the quad feed LNB when the dish is static

One thing I have noticed also with the quad feed the signal drops quite a bit, the single feed is 0.1db not sure what the quad feed is, do you think that could be a problem? (But then again works fine with the dreambox) A certain sly channel is 100% signal with the 0.1 with the single feed and about 60% with the quad feed.

I'm not sure I will try and find out later but I just purchased a Technomate TM-2 Universal 0.1dB Super High Gain Twin

and have exactly the same problem works fine straight through but will not power or move the dish and I get no signal, but the single feed which got a be 10 years old works perfect, another problem when I'm on satellite 23.5 keeps resetting my soft cam to no cam doesn't do it on any other satellite.

I have seen the emulator problem on the OpenATV image so may be worth doing a clean image install, as for the problem with the motor and Quad LNB have you tried a different PSU as the Quad could be draining too much power from the PSU unit

Thanks mate ...No I have not tried a different power supply but I will try the dreambox's one now and let you know, it's got to be something with the LNB and power as without an LNB connected or the single feed lnb the dish moves perfectly, soon as I connect the new twin feed or quad feed dish no longer moves

New power supply didn't work either unfortunately, the place I bought the new twin feed LNB from have agreed to have it returned and told me there is a known bug with zgemma boxes and motorised systems so maybe that's why I can't get it to work with certain LNB's

The Bug maybe on the Zgemma S2 but the H1's that i have seen with single satellite and Cable tuner with both in use have no problems with motorised dishes
