    Zgemma box or not?

Hi just wanted a bit advice on which box I should go for, there seems to be a few people getting the zgemma h1 boxes so was wondering is it worth me getting the same or getting something better, I will be running it through vm cable so will need a tutorial and right image if I go down this road, any advice would be appreciated, cheers...

If you can wait a week or so then I would get the newely released Zgemma H2H it will be a lot faster than the H1 box for about a ?10 more at present, there on pre-order at the bay.

    Here's the specs'
    Code:
    http://zgemma.org/zgemma-h2h1.html?m
    Code:
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-ZGEMMA-H-2H-Combo-HD-Receiver-Dual-Core-Linux-OS-DVB-S2-Hybrid-DVB-T2-/161760763088?hash=item25a9b15cd0:g:3NgAAOSwf-VWV-DG
As these are a new release ie not many people have them, backup images will take some time to be released, however It isn't that difficult to build your own image from scratch.

My guide here will help you with the Satellite side, then perhaps ask on the cable forum how to set up Tuner B, Autobouquetsmaker and crossepg for cable.

I'm new to everything that has to do with tv tuner boxes( I think that's is what their called?) and need a little advice. I am looking for something under ?60 that can do more or less the same job as the*** box and allows me to watch all channels free. I have looked at the openbox v8s but I am confused as to what the ****is

    You can get the firmware here;
    Code:

Zgemma H1 the most advance in the market.
Tools owned: Hammer, Chisel, Crowbar, Punch, Chainsaw, Cutter and Brain!!!

Did you know People will question all the good things they hear about you but believe all the bad without a second thought.

Hi all, Im still doing homework on the right box to get and was wondering for satellite use which of these would be best:

Zgemma Star H.S Satellite Receiver ?64.99
Zgemma Star 2S Twin Tuner Satellite Receiver ?69.00
            Zgemma Star H.2H Two Tuner DVB S2 + DVB T2/C ?89.99
Zgemma Star H.2S Twin Tuner Satellite Receiver ?79.99

I understand I will have to flash the box with one of the many images and plug ins.....if wanting Sky and with no LAN connection is it possible? or is FTA the only option?

please PM if sensitive information in reply....thanks in advance for any help

If you only Need a Single feed Satellite receiver then either the Zgemma S or the one you quoted above the Zgemma H.S the only difference is for the extra ?10 you get a slightly faster Dual Hyper threading CPU, apart from that there is no difference

If you can't use a wired LAN then perhaps try a WiFi dongle.

I guess its worth getting the best bang for your buck....and with a twin tuner so we can watch one station and record the other.

Is it worth waiting for the one mentioned above? Zgemma H2H or does this mean waiting for software to be specifically written?

                  thanks for help

True, unless you have a Cable feed as well as a Satellite feed at your house then I would get a Combo box 2H or H2H, you can still watch one channel record another.

I use a 2S which works perfectly for me without No crashes or bugs and as I haven't loaded lots of plugins on the box it isn't to slow, the H2S will run faster (how much, nobody knows). The Software has been written for the H2S it seems to have a few teething problems namely with timeshift and recording according to the poster on this thread

Hi guys!, Haven't been on here a while, My new dual core Zgemma box is arriving on Monday, I'm coming from a F5s box so its a big step up from what i had before but I use to have a Vu solo so I'm not new to enigma 2, The question I have is that I haven't had an enigma 2 box in a very long time, I notice a guy on this forum

But he did fix it in the end.
