My budget is lower than the one mentioned in the link! That's why I asked about certain boxes! 😆

So whats the budget or do we have to guess ?

A few threads that may help

I have an ancient Skybox F3 and am looking to upgrade to a much better box. F3 is basic as it has no 7 day epg just 'now and next', YouTube & YouP**n don't work and the list goes on. I am looking for a satellite box that is under ?130 and the features I'd like are: -HD -Ability to record while watching another channel (This

hi can any one tell me what box is best out of the ones posted below . wanting the best one for epg and also the best one for recording. they all look the same to me . but prices are all different.. #confused http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221724311780?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay

Hello. hope someone can assist. I am looking to change my set up. Currently have 2 dishes ( 80cm for Astra 23.5 ) and a bog standard Sky dish (receiving FTA only). Want to change the single LNB on the 80 cm so that I can get Astra 19.2, 23.5 and 28.2. So that I can get my current channels + some extra and remove the Sky dish

Discussions for Openbox/Skybox receivers, firmware, channel lists and general help.

What box do you have now
what experience do you have setting up E2 system ?

Ok! Maybe you are right.you don't have to guess, but I assumed that you would understand because I said low price and I mentioned boxes that cost aprox. 55-75 euro! So that's my budget!😆 My current box is a dm 500s and I have some more older boxes!

If your budget is ?45 - 50 then stick with your old box
for your budget you are buying the same box you have now.......if only spending ?50 so its not an upgrade....might even be a downgrade
              I would take cactikid's advice save up & get a better box ?100 - 150

Ok! I get your point! It just seemed strange to me that no one wanted to comment the boxes i mentioned above! Apparently you think they are crap! It would just be useful if someone who knows them wanted to say something about certain problems they have! I hope I'm not being a pain in the....#&*!

most important with anything you want to buy is research and box support,if is hard to get info on said units the harder it can be to fix it and having to wait.many of the models people started with and moved onto better.
do you want a weekly dabble when issues come up? or enjoy watching tv

example vu solo2 one of the top fastest twin sat tuner box with plenty of grunt to run many extras.+ may get many image makers to provide an image for box=well supported.

example kryptview 780 cable box = only support is from provider= closed source.

you could try a search on forums for those boxes but if rare may not be many threads?

most people buy first and end up bald = no research done .
