    60mph Winds forcast tomorrow !!! r u ready ??

I saw the weather forcast this evening, and it has been said that the whole country will be "battered" by 60mph high winds tomorrow...I am curious what precautions some fellow sat-heads may be taking prior to the alleged attack......personally myself i shall be removing the car out of the drive ( just in case it comes down ... ) Also i am curious whats the highest wind speeds ever survived by a decent size dish ????
Come on everyone...share your ( horror ) stories...

In Uk there are not that high winds as those seen in Australia, USA, etc.

I think @ 60mph a 1.2m dish will win the war as long as its bolted securely enough with all 4 bolts.

Those at risk at the ones too high up where the winds are more powerful than near the ground.

mine is just above my head when standing so not worried at all

I really hope mine doesn't come down, mine is above where I park my car and my mrs parks her brand new car. You can just imagine how much grief I will get if it comes down on her car

I can never sleep when there are high winds.

My first (non sly) dish, a fixed 80cm to get ART, got moved a bit by the wind.

That was 3 or 4 years back. Had a 1m fixed (on 16e), and now a 1m motorised. Touch wood, no problems.

Still unerves me with these high winds though!!!!
