Try a different hdmi lead or try plugging into a different hdmi socket on your tv.
Remember....Don't plug/unplug with the power on. Always switch off both devices first.

Nah try throwing it in your local Skip, nah seriously here is what to do extract said ATV 5.1
Original Software from Zgemma TV website from your Downloads folder via say Winzip
within said said file if you pay attention to detail further research you will notice a tiny we
folder entitled "SL" open it up (double click) & you will see a file entitled "No Force" highlight
it (left click) Rename It (right click) too "Force" send updated "SL" folder too your Desktop
either Ctrl-E then Select Desktop or (right click) then send sad File/Folder from Desktop too
A Formated FAT 32 USB Stick then power off/shutdown your Box via white power button @
the rear of your box then plug it said usb stick in the back then power up said box via said
white button then press the box front display panel power button (left hand side) & Boot
should then change too "FLSH" (Flash) leave it until it goes back to the word "Boot" then
said Box should re-boot up into Factory Default Mode. Reset box by going through it's so
called "Set-Up Wizard" change all the Languages to English then Delete the Rest of said
Box Languages so that it's just English UK to conserve memory space I would advise you
to go through this same procedure when re-flashing said box with up-dates in other words
if available change said small inside file from "No Force" to "Force" also if any of you
Guys & Girls come across this so called updated ATV 5.1 Update then please let me know
Because my Clone Zgemma Star H1 DVB Operating System is not working properly for
example the "Programme Packages" within the "Software Management Option" within
          said Menu cheers

Because for example I've got a Kryptview A780 DVB it has a separate Power Circuit Board inside it.
I also got a Skybox same as above, I've also got a Openbox same as above I've purchased said
Clone boxes before, not just Zgemma Star H1 as mentioned but other Skyboxes & Openboxes &
they are rubbish they don't last ones lucky to get 24 months out of them & the common manufacturing
problem with them its like a built in fault that the tiny wee On/Off Sensor packs up rubbish models/
makes & a waist of money simple as

Zgemma's are made by the clone kings of the eastern world 'Airdigital' however, Airdigitals Zgemma series was brought out as a legitimate box which is supported by many open source teams namely Openatv. Openvix don't support the zgemma series because they only support boxes sold by WOS and therefore class it as a clone.

IMHO it's not a clone but a cheaply made Chinese box, take my Zgemma for example, it works perfect however the red number on the front ie the clock or channel numbers is at a squinted angle of about 5 degrees.

                  Right Martin 035

I've now gone through the User Manual which came with the said box (Zgemma Star H1) & there is
no mention whatsoever as regards to where it was manufactured yeah try Star Wars The Attack of
                  The Clones Planet perhaps

and the point is you are still buying cheap and others have moved to better higher standards enigma2 receivers that are faster and better built.
others like yourself have the kv moved to zgemma wanted better and got vu duo2 or xtrend 8000 receivers and now glad they moved.
probably agree zgemma are short lived box as quality is not there.
