Xtrend ET9500- Can I plug a plug and play tuner in here?

    Hi guys.
I have a question, I currently have the XTREND ET9500 box, I know it has 2 satellite tuners, but is there a way of finding out if it can handle another tuner ie for Cable, if so will this DVBSky T330 (HMP-Combo) DVB-T2/T/C USB Stick Standalone Tuner suffice? If not, should I get a Edision OS Mini? Thanks

Very easy 1 screw holds the back plate in place you just take that out pull the tuner out of its slot and replace with your other tuner put the screw back in job done

Thanks again! But so just to confirm if I take the older tuner out, I will be left with Just 1 single satellite tuner and 1 cable?

That is correct i am afraid as Xtrend do not produce a single Dual tuner capable Satellite or Cable/Freeview Plug & Play tuner unlike Vu+ who do produce them

The tuner arrived and I installed it, unfortunately the box does not show any picture, so I tried to try to change the settings, but I couldn't.
Had a play around with a few HDMI's, but it boot up and then it would say no signal on the tv. Any ideas? Thanks

Might be a daft question but have you set up correct net id for cable region and scanned in some channels.

Hi. No, not yet. When I put the TV on, THE picture doesn't come on, I don't know if the HDMI has messed up.. Could it be the hardware?
