gigablue..

hi all

been an f5 user for some time and want to change to something bigger, better and with more channels - the gigablue quad hd keeps popping up but having never dealt with linux previously im wondering if its the right choice? im told theres how to's and guides on here to get started but i cant seem to find them. any help is appreciated

Any box is better than a f5 and the gigablue is towards the top end of the market, however, if your just using it on a fix satellite dish you won't get any more channels. To get more channels with any box you need to go down the motorised dish or cable tuner route.

thanks - i was thinking of the motorised route as dont have cable where i am. wheres best to start reading some how to's?
