You may want to ask others opnions of this box. You could check out the nanno x forum. You will need a good aligned dish as the disc 1.2 function on the box is not good but usals works well (i believe)

The tm6900 is a hd box and depending on if its a newer super box it may or may not have a ethernet port. The super box's in theory could do what the protek does so easily but it would involve paying out further costs and you wont get any get any help on the forum as its card sharing. The protek has a pre assigned server to connect to thats payed up front as part of your purchase price.

        Hi,

i think as a newbe to satellite world, CS will be too much for me. as you say protek has a predefine server then it should be good.

how about the reliability of the server. and also can i kindly ask here to find the channel list it supports.

do you know where i can buy the unit cheaply..
        thanks

Hi m8,one thing to look @ is the Resolution on that tm: 576p & 576i, 720p & 1080i.This is not as good a say the azbox. To me this is a big factor when buying a sat receiver.Support has been good over the years with tms,i will say that, but there not the best receivers.
