I'm all set up everything is working then today I turn the box on then when I press the menu button on the box I get an error screen saying we are really sorry your reciever encountered a software problem and needs to be restarted. please send the logfile /home and the box reboots

    Any ideas

What version of e2 are you using? ie Openatv or openvix. But it does sound like your present image has been corrupted most probably by an OTA update. The best option is to either rebuild your image from the beginning or if you have your own backup image install that or try download someone else backup image and install that.

It's not corrupt but most likely doesn't have file swap set up or cache clear. Once you have installed a few things on the zgemma without setting up at least fileswap it will blue screen and crash. Reboot it using the power button on the remote and that should clear most errors it will still crash if it tries to complete too many tasks at the same time.
