vigica c100s dead after update

hi guys
i bought a c100s and it had problems with not loading kodi so tried to do an update
booted to recovery and it looked like it was updating but it didnt
then rebooted to recovery and tried again .... same thing
rebooted to recovery and tried for third time the box then rebooted and didnt boot anymore
no power light or anything
now read alot of posts all over the net and found nothing to fix this
even tried to use uart
with uart i get this message using putty

pll_times 4 : 1390/mnt/nfsroot/sandy.luo/jb-mr2-amlogic-2/uboot/arch/arm/cpu/aml_meson/m8/firmware/pll.cpll_init0x000000cf

this just continues looping with the only part to change is the 1390/ counts up ie 1390, 1391, 1392 etc etc

anyone know how to get this box working again?
even tried to do the 29,30 short trick but still nothing

head over to freaktab website, they list a 'usbburning tool that can force a rom update

I did something similar to my Minix X8 H Plus box and used the method described by gadget78 and managed to revive it. Mine was worse than yours as I stupidly left an image for another box on my flash drive which installed instead of the update I was intending. I thought, disaster, it was, but it now works as intended.

Read a lot about these boxes on a number of sites including freak tab etc
Computer wouldn't see it for usbburntool to work
After about 2 weeks and ordering a new k1-s2 (same box)
Found another thread with another way to try and this worked
Basically had to short pins 17and 18 for it to flash new image from sd card
Now the image is on and working for sat but android is back to how it started off with nothing loading
Kodi etc won't even start

Glad it's sorted out. I found the USB cable used was important, the only USB cable that would work for me was the one that came with the unit, and I still had all the accessories in the box.

I tried around five that I had handy and none would connect.

only thing i have wrong now is android side dont want to work
so now looking into if i can maybe ftp from 1 box (working fine) to this 1 without having to install an ftp server to it
as said nothing will install and run on the android side so kodi wont run or install etc
