no signal

hi, i havnt subscribed to sky in over 2 years but was still receiving the free channels until a couple of mths ago when it suddenly came up with "no signal" on screen , does anyone know wha the problem may be or how to go about finding the problem , bear in mind i checked the satellite dish and it doesnt seem to have moved and nothing is blocking it , many thanks for your help

faulty lnb it could be and might be the receiver

take the receiver to try at friends house to rule that out as the problem

lnbs for minidishes can be bought for 10 quid on ebay

hi, must b lnb coz connected up another box to it and still says no signal, tks 4 help

good then you can buy a new lnb and swap it out

be careful not to move the dish out of position when you remove the plastic peg to slide out the old lnb
