any 1 no bout triax sat receiver

just got a triax sat box ans dish.i have 100 channels.is there anyother way that i could get more channels on this box.is there a firmware or some sort that i could use.im new to the satalite stuff.

depends on which satellite your dish is pointing and on which "chip" the stb has inside. dont really know much about this receiver and if there is any "patches" around for it

mdt thanks for the reply.its pointing at astra thats all i no.how can i find which chip is in it.or could u recommend another box that i would get more channels on.
