Using Sky Multiroom in 2 houses?

I got 2 houses which are both next door well 4 doors away from each other.
i dont wanna pay 2 subscriptions but is there a way i can get multi room in 1 of them and take it to my other house?
i know sky say you must have it connected to your phone line 24/7 but surely there must be a way around that right?

i remember in the old days it used to be that you have to take the box to the address where it is meant to be and do a talkback thing once a month but whats the crack now?

has long has both boxes get hit at the right address they will work anywhere in the country but you do need to keep reconnecting to the fone line every so often for the box to update
no some one thats been doing it for 3 years without a problem

If the bt line is underground you can make a extension up by simpley using the existing wiring. Each house has a multi pair running to it from a pit outside. Configure the spare pair in the house with fone line as a extension socket. Then connect this to the spare pair in the pit for house using the other sky box. Just dont tell anyone. short the wires out and use a meter to find them or if you have a tone tracer even easier.
