Few missing channels

I have the Autobouquets Maker on my dm800se and did a scan last night to replace various channels but noticed that @+tanta HD and SD are no longer there? I also went into the providers bit under green button where all channels are in alphabetical order and still wasnt there??

I remember last time this happened it was to do with the file under the FTP that had to be edited but not sure how i did it as it was a while back??

Sentanta HD and SD have been rebranded to eir sports 1, 2 & 2 HD , have a look to see if their there, if not you need to update your ABM plugin then rescan.

Just had a look and tried a rescan!

It appears im missing quite a few channels, cinema and eir are not showing on the list and prob a few others?

How do i update the abm plugin or do i just get the .xml file thingy and transfer across??

Any One of these three ways;
1. Do an software update of the whole box, ABM will be updated automatically.
2. Remove the ABM plugin and reinstall.
3. If your using ABM 2.4 then go into the ABM in menu-setup-service searching-ABM then select 'update config files'

then do a rescan

I cant do an update as my image no longer supports updates and it would bugger image and abm up, I found it hard finding the right ABM plugin for the dm800 as there were other the same out there but different when installed?

How about changing the texts in the ABM xml file itself??

You need to find "enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-autobouquetsmaker_2.1" this will give you the ability to update ABM via the plugin itself

Just thought??

1. Would it be possible to ftp the updated config files to my dm800 as i have an up to date zgemma that already has it on?

2. How about editing the "sat_282_sky_uk.xml"

3. Finding it hard using a newer vertion of ABM as im also taking a risk if it does not work on the box?

Ok, before you do anything you need to make a backup image of you dm800 so if anything goes wrong it's just a matter of a reflash to get it right again.
1. Yes, there's a good chance this would work FTP the files from the Zgemma to your dm800 then reboot, then rescan
2. Might work, open 'sat_282_sky_uk.xml' search for 'setanta' and replace with 'eir sport' then reboot , then rescan
3. Would definitely work, if no luck with the above get searching.

All of them, I don't know exactly know which ones, if you miss one it might corrupt ABM, toe m8 you've got a lot of hard work coming up, Good luck

My image by the way is an openpli 4 on dm800se

It shouldn't make any difference as OE_alliance plugins should work on all enigma2 boxes, however as the dm800 used patched images and openpli stopped support for the dm800 2 years ago it could cause problems.

Try again, as you already have ABM working, all the dependencies are already on your box, hopefully the telnet command should work and install the latest incarnation of ABM.

As I've stated you've got a lot of hard work, it might just be easier to update your channels manually ie
Menu-setup-service searching-manual scan and enter the relevant information for the new channels and scan, this will give you a new bouquet called 'last scanned' you can then transfer the new channels to your sports bouquets via fav-menu-setting-move to bouquet

Ahhhh think i should of put the command "opkg upgrade" as this updates plugin?? But do i still have to tell it specifically to upgrade ABM???

Do i just put that into my tmp folder through ftp martin and then telnet install it??

My image is patched and 2 years old, it cant install from box you see?
