    buying zgemma

hi I am buying my zgemma h2s from the zgemma website I think its better getting it from there than fleebay do you agree ? also ive got the zgemma folder openatv 5.3 which I downloaded from martin035 unzipped abd put on a 1gb stick just for the firmware and formatted to fat32 ? will that be ok to install the firmware ? also is it better to use an usb or memory card for the epg and recording ?

Yes, your 1gb stick formatted to fat32 will be fine, just unzip and place the 'Zgemma' folder on it, into the rear USB and switch on, when you see USB on front panel press 'standby button' then follow the instructions in the thread guide to setup your Zgemma for your region.

USB or microSD it's all down to personnl choice. Some find setting up the microSD problematic whilst the USB just works. I personally use both only because I had a 4gb microSD card left from my old phone, use that for the EPG and backup images I make, all my recordings are on a 64gb USB drive but if I didn't have a microSD then everything would be on the USB because I wouldn't get a microSD card just for that.

I can't comment on a h1 but the OP is buying a h2s which has dual satellite tuners, the model I own and I can verified that the tuners ain't SH_te on this model.

your referring to cable box - I agree the tuners can be hit and miss. h2s/h.s which have sat tuners are much more reliable.
