    Zgemma H.2S Loop Through

    Hi Everyone

I have just got my H.2S ... I only have one feed for it at the moment but it seems to be working fine.
This feed used to connect directly to my tv for freesat .
I have now obviously connected this to my H.2S.
I had assumed I would be able to use the loop through from the H.2S back to the tv to give me freesat as I had before ?
Or does it not work that way .... I have a cable going from my H.2S loop through to my tv freesat connection but the tv on freesat just says "No Signal" .
I used to get freesat before ... does the loopthrough not work like this or what am I doing wrong ?

    Thanks In Advance

looking at a picture of the rear on a well known auction site, it seems that tuner A has no loop out

it shows tuner B with lnb in and loop out , so are you using tuner A or tuner B ?

if using tuner A , swap it to tuner B and leave tuner A free

And just to add to the excellent advice from ramjet, make sure that once you've followed ramjets instructions, disable Tuner A in the settings else you might get 'Tuner lock' problems when scanning for channels.

      menu-setup-service searching-tuner configuation

I tried this and the freeview on the tv worked .... however when using tuner "B" I lost some of the channels ?? There were gaps in the listings and epg . A lot of channels didn't work . I reverted back to how it was and it was fine again .
I think I must have done something wrong somewhere .....

ideally you want to replace the single feed cable with a dual feed cable from a quad lnb on that dish

or better still , add a twin (shotgun) cable to a quad lnb from that dish as a dual feed , feed this twin into the zgemma on both lnb A and B (like sly do on sly plus) , and leave the single feed from the dish into the tv like it was before

I would forget about the TV's Freesat until you get a dual/quad sat cable feed for TV and Zgemma, just use you zgemma for all your Freesat channels, plug you single sat cable into Tuner A and disable Tuner B
