Hi everyone I'm new on here so I've not done much posting but I have been slinking about reading up to improve my knowledge. Not been sure up to yet how I could contribute as there are loads of people on here with much more know how than me. Anyway I just had an idea and wondered if the mods or anyone else thought it a good one or just a waste of time.
I like just looking around and finding new programmes on different Satellites so I was thinking would it be a good idea, maybe a sticky, where people could post list's of movies or series available FTA with English Audio on sats other than Astra ? As in 8 pm GMT - {interesting movie or season such of ****} - {on syrius or thor etc} - {channel}
This would be something the less technically adept of us could contribute to & save lot's of people time searching schedules or remote surfing.
I see people tend to mention the football a bit but this would be nice & I've not seen it done unless I've missed it !

Cool idea But i havent come across any consistent broadcasting of FTA english movies yet So this means you will need to update it everyday like the feeds thread

the mbc chanels on 7west and 26e show top movies all day and night and series, and all in english too...www.mbc.net/english and are totally free to air...
I think mbc on 26e might be got with a 1.2dish...although the footprint says 1.2-1.5 in france...cos i,m getting 95signal and 85quality on a 1.8m...so a 1.2m should still bring enough signal in....

Depending on your location a 1.2m will get you all the mbc channels from 26e. I didnt know What mbc broadcasted because i dont receive it

I was thinking if anyone saw an ad for a film on a random channel they could just post the time - sat - channel it was advertised for or noticed a series people may be interested in starting somewhere. I assume some people on here are multilingual & watch some channels in their native language regularly, so could help others out in this way. Just thought it would be nice for people who have a large or motorised dish but don't want to get deeply involved in the more "Hobby" related side of things & just want to point their dish and get something interesting FTA.

Hi timo,im known for finding fta things in sat world.Been doing this a very long time.Most of all i find satellite feeds,you might want to look into this tim.When scanning for feeds i do see some channels with a good film say in English from time 2 time.

OK Satsid,I got some info on the maxx 1000 box thanks but I'll be using a dm600 on an 88cm triax dish.I'll be looking for cartoons for the kids mostly can you recommend any sats.I', in Cork city in Ireland and obviously I wont reach everything with an 88cm dish but its a start.Are any of the sats broadcasting Disney channel in English.I can search around meself when i'm fully setup but I'm waiting on an lnb which was excluded from my package and is being resent as we speak.So in all I'm looking for Cartoons please.
Sorry to inconvenience you but I'm starting out in the sat scene after contracting the N3 virus .

You will not get any free cartoon channels. Feeds are mainly for live events or special broadcasts So you wont find on cartoon feeds. You need a official sub or you need to google cardsharing which you might find difficult to set up.

I'm ok with the c/s bit just wondering if there was any fta cartoons.I've some c lines to test once I get fully running but twas just a thought.
