what size dish are you driving? I use technomate 2600 diseqc motor on my 1mt dish and its fine.Ive also been using an older TM motor for about 4yrs and its still as accurate as when I installed it.

depending on where you live.. if its the uk you can pick this up at the moment.. ?44 for a 1m dish is very good value

        Televes 7578 - 1m Grey Dish

I've got a Technomate 2200 Super - it has metal gears so is very durable.. the newer spec'd 2600 is just as good

this is a bit more expensive way to go but
you could use a 36v superjack motor and a v-box to
convert disec 1.2 to 36v. i live in the north west of the uk
and have a 1.2 dish on this motor system and i never moves
in high winds it also moves very fast between satellites

                I have a TM-2300 Super with a 1 meter dish.
Working well so far, had a very windy night a few weeks ago and everything was fine.

superjack motor are better in high winds as the arm supports the dish.I use a tm dapci receiver on the 36 volts to drive the dish.I live near the sea,so it gets very windy here.

Yep sid. Very very windy. I think our motor is suffering too from the winds strength.
