Sky ROi.xml File

Alrite guys!!

I was wondering if someone may perhaps have the recent xml custommix file so that we can get hold of SS5 Roi??

I have updated config files and scanned but its not bringing anything up??

Use ABM and then no headaches

I have ABM but i think i was reading on here you have to do something with the xml file as the scan wont pick the channel up unless you use a custom version??

No you set ABM to scan $ky ROI in the setup menu the receiver will do the rest

Make sure your image is up to date and depending on what image your using, press menu/setup/service searching/autobouquet maker/configure and make sure......Include 'not indexed channels is set to yes save and exit.

Go to providers next and SKY ROI and switch to yes, Switch SKY ROI area to ROI SD make sure all options except (SKY ROI Generate Sections set to yes) are set to NO, and switch swap channels to yes save and exit.

Do a scan for the channels, when finished exit out of all menus and hit the favorite button to bring up your bouquets move to SKY ROI NOT INDEXED and select it look for SKY SPORTS 5 there should be about 5 of them you are looking for the last 1 that should be Sky Sports 5 ROI.

Now to add this to the SKY ROI SPORT Bouquet or SKY UK (BE AWARE THIS WILL OVERWRITE THE 1 ALREADY THERE), on opentv 5.3 as you already on it bring up the list of not indexed channels make sure SKY SPORTS 5 ROI is selected and hit menu this will bring up a menu select add service to bouquet and scroll to SKY ROI - SPORTS and hit ok on remote. It will now be in there so exit out of all menus and goto it.

AS a bonus you could goto hide sections and put a tick on whatever SKY ROI sections you want to hide

I will give this a try but i read somewhere that martin had come across a work around for the ss5 roi to be put into the channel listing regarding the xml file, I think it was 400 and something? not sure exact the number?

There is a couple of scripts going around that will give you just that one channel in the sports section, Personally its as easy as Vorlon stated above and then just goto the hide section and hide all the ROI bouquets apart from the sports which will leave you with a ROI sports section at the bottom of your favourites list

Toe471, the customix.xml file isn't required anymore as ABM's github has been updated to reflect the SS5 RoI channels, you just need to update your ABM config files and rescan, this will then place SS1-5 RoI in your main 'sports' bouquet

I would advise if you have used a custommix.xml to delete it before updating and rescanning to stop any future issues.
