      its just a 'reader', a bit like the multicrypt cam on the Dreambox.. it will read the following official cards..

      Viaccess 1/2, Mediaguard 1/2, Irdeto 1/2, Conax, Betacrypt and Cryptoworks.

              no, i dont think so from what i can fathom from reading about it, its just a reader for a CI slot
