No signal lock on VU Duo2

Ok, I've gone and done it, brand new today, cable and sat tuner with VIX.

Set it all up, got the cable side working a treat, however for the life of me for some reason I cant seem to find 28.2 and no signal.
Now, I have not used my motorised dish in a few years, its still there high up on the side of my house with a few cob webs I presume.
I've just plugged the cable straight into the back of the duo2, when setting up I did see about 67% signal for about a minute then it disappeared and have not been able to get it back.

Have I got to get up to my dish and spray WD40 in it to get it moving or am I being a complete noob and missing something in the setup menu ???

Menu - Setup - Service Searching - Simple - Positioner - "your latitude" - "your longitude" save and then see if anything happens

Didn't work, I did manage to lock onto 1 which I thought was 26E Badr but not sure, Polish or Russians were speaking and I had about 3 channels.
