    Help 10e - no reception

After sundays high winds, my exposed dish has been knocked slightly out of course. My Bulsatcom package is slightly weaker - Diema showing 80% instead of 98% but more importantly, I have very poor reception on 10e - the one I use mainly to watch feeds. I have tried to readjust via the remote but it doesn't seem to save the settings. Any suggestions - I have a T/mate 5400 Super + and a 95cm dish?

PS: Other sats seem to be down slightly as well - ie 19e is down by about 6%.

Hi m8...first get a spirit level and check if the mounting pole has moved slightly..then if its not that.the motor could have moved slightly..so send your dish to 1west..move the motor slightly to the left/right to get optimum signal, then adjust the elevation for optimum signal, and all should be well again...

All seems plum up on the dish. Did the 1w - got the best reception and my Bulsatcom seems a little better. 10e is another matter though! Some (about 1/3) have 55-60% signal but no signal on any of the others! I have to change POS on every channel everytime I go to it! Could the LNB of moved slightly? Would that cause this?

when ur on 10e you are bringing in 9e transponders as well and this can cause probs from time to time...if you give me some transponders on various sats i,ll see what i,m getting..you should be getting the same as me with you being a stones throw away
Also i think with you having to change dish position everytime you one this position..is that you are viewing some chnls of 10e and some off 9e hence the re-positioning bepending on what transponder you are on...10e and 9e really need to have their own sat positions even though both can be received off 1 position...

          9e - most transponders c. 70%
          ie
          11727 v
          11916 v
          11747 h

          except 11766 v, 12054 h - used to get but not now.

10e - after fiddling - nothing! I have to manually change POS via remote (3 x w - save it but change channel and it changes again!)

Getting very confused now - if you see a satellite dish over the skys of Retford then you know who it is!

Other thing is - when I change from any sat to 10e - then picture on 10e is on for 2 seconds then the signal goes completely!??

make sure the dish is centered on the motor this sometimes moves in strong winds.

you cant move the dish left/right on usals mode only on diseqc 1.2 can you tweak the satellite postions.

the reason the new position didnt save is becoz ur using usals and not diseqc. you need tm be usin diseqc for the changes to save.

Thanks Jackpot and Wod1 - it took me 4 hours to realise this and that's how I finally got it sorted! Still - at least I have learned something new!
