zgemma epg issue

Hi all, I had my zgemma working 100% recently but overnight the epg has decided to stop working and shows "Missions Weekend Luncheon" for up and coming programmes on most if not all fav lists. I'm using whoosbuilds latest build and have rescanned for country, auto bouquets etc through the plugins but no change. Any help appreciated

Set epg not to save and reboot then next crossepg scan should sort it out.

You may need to delete the epg.dat file from wherever you have it set to store. After you have set it not to save and rebooted.

You would be better using the EPGimport plugin as this has an option to delete the old epg.dat file everytime its due to scan and replaces with a new one

I had a nightmare trying to set crossepg up on Open ATV. Gave up in the end. It just doesn't play nice, don't think it was anything I did.

If someone could post a tutorial for crossepg on Open ATV 5.3 latest build, I update every couple of days, nightly even, I would be appreciative.

Cross epg is dead easy to set up. What is causing your problem is not cross epg but the freesat part that is downloading whenever you go to a fta channel. You want to do as I said in the part for epg not cross epg

Whenever I've tried to install it nothing seems to change on the EPG. It's as if it were not there. I may have too many active EPG's or something, haven't the foggiest.

I read that crossepg doesn't work well with Open ATV and that an earlier build is required. Not sure about that though.

I think it's working. It just populates the fields, right? I thought it was the EPG itself, it uses a front end.

Ok, I did what you suggested and it worked 99%. There is still 1 or 2 programmes (across whole epg) not clearing the search & download.
Its manageable as the programme synopsis is still correct. I wonder is there a character the code doesn't recognise in the programme titles??
All else works like record, timeshift etc

Aye, looks fine to me, you will get the odd channel that gives the name and times of a program but No synopsis. Sky Atlantic, on random occasions, is noticeable for this especially programs that start in the evening, but this wont stop you using the record features of the EPG.
