IPTV SERVER + Zgemma Star 2S - Important Question

    Hello my friends.

I have sa Zgemma Star 2S Enigma 2 with Openatv.
I am going to use it to produce streaming to put in a Linux IPTV Server.

My Internet is Vodafone Fiber 200mbps UP and DOWN.

The big problem is i am unable to produce more than 7 streams out of the box, if i try to produce 1 more strem it gives me: "streaming error".

I have checked the processor and ram load with the 7 streams and its about 5% of processor and 50mb of ram.

Does anyone knows how to solve this issue or this is some sort of hardware limitation like LNB or Zgemma.

Thanks a lot for your precious help

IIRC and I could be wrong it's the limitation of the tuners, I thought it was a max of 4 channels per tuner and only if those channels were on the same transponder.

Any way around this issue well either add more USB tuners to zgemma or get a quad tuner box.

Limitation of not only the tuners but the receiver as well its way too slow, your maxing out at 8 channels. A more viable option would be a Vu Solo4K with unicable LNB and the built in FBC tuners which would give you 16 tuners per input as well as another 8 via the plug and play 3rd tuner if you installed a Dual DVB-S2 tuner.

      so 40 tuners in total

Dear friends, you won?t beleive this.

I have installed Ubuntu Server and TVHeadEnd in a Dual Core Computer with PCI Skystar HD2 Cards and i am able to make 20 Stream per Transponder per Tuner.

Processor is 20% Load and RAM is 250MB Load out of 2GB.

I was: WTF as just hapen XD

        How can this be?

        Cheers.
