    Hello everyone i am a newbie thanks for letting me in

    I am looking for advice on what to go for, i haves ky at the mom, but i want to buy a differnt system such a STARVIEW 5 receiver what other kit do i need with this and what channels can you get on it

    Hi m8 and welcome to DK.
    The Starview 5 is a cable receiver and will not work with a dish(sky). You will require a active Virg*in Med*a account. Once set up you wll be able to view about 300 channels.

      thanks badapple can you suggest any receivers for dish's or can you have active Virg*in Med*a account over the net we have not got cable in our area? sorry if i am asking supid questions

        you wont clear Sky mate so if you want that then get an official subscription.. you will clear some other european packages on different satellites with an IP receiver like the protek / nanoxx..

        if you live in a non cabled area then you cant get Virgin Media TV
