HUMAX 5400

hi. I have a chance of buying a humax 5400 with dragon/trex twin cam,I have been told these are an old model receiver but are they ok with a motoirised dish.opinions welcome

the 5400 wrk very well useing a diseqe motor
the picture from them is lot better than a lot of newer recievers.

is this standard box or h2008

i have never used a cam with mine as its got the toh + cam software
but i dont use it much now as there is not a lot of stuff thats cracked

depends on what your after if its going to be any good for you.

its a sd box,and I,m just after any english speaking channels really.

it will pick up any free to air chnl depending on size of the dish
there are few satellite only forums that still have good support for the humax
if its not realy cheap i would leave alone as most new boxs are peanuts now as most hacks for normal box,s have gone.

I can get the box and cam for ?150 then but a motorised dish,I,m looking around ?250.
Maybe not worth it as i can get a mvision hd 200 full system for same price.

I agree with you mate ?150 is not worth it when you can get new patchable boxes for less than half that.
