this is indeed a bit of a worry, all those channels are clearing fine on my sky box

What I would be interested in knowing is if said channels are clearing on the old bog standard Sky SD box? Can someone please confirm this?

There are loads. Here are some.....
Astra 3 23.5 east
Astra 19.2 East
Hotbird 13 East
Sirius/Astra 4a 5/4.8 East (Co-located)
Thor/Intelsat 0.8/1.0 West Co-located)

It is not about channels, its about transponders. So 12418 H is now dead. If folks remember HD went in the exact same way. First you play with one transponder, ensure normal customers are unaffected and then it becomes very quick after that. So its maybe a week to ensure normal customers are unaffected and then its just a couple of weeks to finish the job

Seems Sky has managed to switch all their systems to new icam encryption algorithm. And when you consider that Sky Italia has been down for so long there is not going to be a fix for 28.2. Anyway times have moved on from satellite TV. Tsmedia or Kodi are the means forward. Life today is streaming so Sky may be a bit late with their encryption changes. Folks with a bit of knowledge can stream all their movies, all their TV series as they want, when they want. So Sky is irrelevant these days

Not that irrelevant, as the sky channels that go, won't work on iptv, either

thanks all for your comments, its helpful knowing bits n pieces. it was good whilst it lasted, ive heard roamers some people have got Sly IT back up, dont know how true that is. please keep posted
