hi cunny, i can only use the van for 8 month's a year so dont want to take out a sky package, & end up paying for 12, so im open to surgestions? as for cumbria & f1, have driven rally cars for over 35 years, but still like to take it easy on sundays, lookin for a small motorised setup, that can get me my f1 ??? many thanks ,Steve

So basically you need to follow a setup for a motorised setup for a house as being static.

Can you get wifi or a decent 4g setup? If so look into iptv

I am into rally driving and f1 so i must be sad too,,, not...

For a signal on 28.2 its just a case of buying a zone 1 dish from fleebay, find your line of site which is usually easy with nearby caravans and install it.

Do you subscribe to sly uk at home as if your away you could just simply take that box or a mirror box with you unless someone needs that at home when you vacation...

Its also fta on channel 4/HD a lot which i,m sure you will already know but not as good as the f1 channel

@Cunny even if you can get 4g in cumbria on a caravan park would that work...4g and iptv dont seem right to be paired together.

Dont forget IPTV can run perfectly fine on 4G seeing as it has speeds capable of around 80mbps in some areas especially if your EE network, typically you should see speeds at around 40mb download which is nearly the base equivalent of BT's starter fibre broadband.

Possibly have a look at some of 3's sims that allow tethering

If its a decent 3G speed then you might be OK, perhaps running it on the Samsung TAB might be another option (not ideal) but is restricted viewing size
