I didn't look that close. If it means reaching for my specs I tend not to. Anyway glad I didn't buy a new box now.

Time to get a motorised dish me thinks, been holding off for ages, but what I don't want to frookin happen is get a motor dish kit and pay for install etc and then basically the same thing happens to all the channels from abroad too, hmmmmm

Out of curiosity, from central Scotland, If I got a one meter motorised dish, what am I most likely to be able to pick up and is it really worth the hassle or expense ??

I have Kodi installed and all the pish, so I know what can be done that way, but it's sometimes ok and a lot of the time pure pants man.

Hmmmm! somehow i cant see that happening as the amount of different Encryption systems used on various providers is more that you can count on both hands so the chance of them all going 'Dark' at the same time is about the same as you hitting the lottery!

and not everything on other satellites has to be so called 'Gift' related put in the time and effort and some reading and you can have EPL/FA Cup/Rugby/Boxing in HD with English Comms with just a softcam key. problem is a lot of people have got very lazy being spoon fed all this time and basically got use to the Plug & Play lifestyle.

                              Those days are now over.

Took me 30 minutes today to find out about iptv, install, test and purchase. Works great and I've finally got all the important HD channels back (sports and movies).
it works on both my openboxes but even better, if you've got a samsung or lg smart tv, you don't even need a box. its just a case of installing an app and adding the channel playlist.
I seem to have a got a decent supplier cos at one point it was running unbuffered in 4 rooms at the same time.
Definitely worth paying a little extra for a good service and the HD
