hi, my brother has a standerd sky box with the standard package. what he wants to know is if he bought a sky plus box would he be able to record programs, fast foward and rewind, or would he have to upgrade his package.

From memory, you have to pay an extra ?10 a month for sky+, unless you also susbscribe to one of the movie packages.My master plan is to live forever..... going to plan so far

Yeah its extra unless you have a PRemium Service ie Sports or Movies.

sky+ is standard now. plus you would need to change the lnb to have 2 cables coming out. best to call sky and get them to come roundWavefield Ds 55cm at 13E 19E and 28E receiving everything out there on 2 dm800hd

You can put a sky plus box on without changing the lnb on the satellite but you will only be able to watch and record the one channel your watching, until you get a quad lnb for the satellite.Comment
