if its dead its dead, did your bootloader pack up on sv4,does box power up as rte1,net2,tv3,itv,bbc1,2 and others still work and so do radio stations.
i presume it is a cable box and not a sat box as you are posting in wrong section then.
after a fw change my boxes (eurovox) doesnt recieve all fta channels, so it will be the same when nag3 hits, so i dont think the boxes will be any good to recieve all the fta channels
Thanks guys for the replies, when I say it's dead I mean it's dead in the N3 sense, I can still receive rte and the other normal channels. What I was wondering is coud I use the box as a sat receiver?, do I restore factory settings, sorry for asking dumb questions....

If its got cable tuners then your goosed. Starview 4?
The only inputs I can see at the back are 'Cable in' and 'antenna in', It dosent have a sat in connection, guess your right I'm goosed!....Tell you the truth I have a fta system already installed and I was going to try and connect my now useless SV4 box to the spare LNB on the dish,

on no account connect up to a sat dish it is a cable box,if it is the n3 that has stopped it working the box is just useless sell it on now before everywhere goes n3,the box is working just not in n3 area.sat frequency is different than cable frequency.
