new to sat

hi there and happy new year i am pretty clued up on dbox stuff but wanting to get into sat scene is there any guides on what box to buy and how to set up eg images ,software and what ever else i need all help would be much appreciated as the misses is missing her chans

sky is not open or hacked on satellite.. never has been.. never will be.. if you want to get the channels she wants via sky buy a subscription from them

no mate i am not trying to hack anything i just thought that peeps can get chans from abroad for nowt not trying to rip off any1

If you get a TM (1500, 5400 etc.) you can get patches to receive 1w Digi TV for footy, movies and xxx. There are a few other channels open but not much.

If you subscribe to Sky you can get a lot more by using a linux box (such as a DM500s) and CCcam, but you cannot discuss that on here so you will need to use google.
