    Adding an LNB

    Hi
My satellite system is fixed dish (1m) with 3 fixed LNBs (Hotbird 13 E, Arabsat 26 E and Astra 28.2 E). I can add a fourth LNB, I want to add an LNB which shows English footy and movies (even if they are encrypted) without moving my dish so which satellite can I choose without moving the dish? I think I should pick a stellite with E direction. I looked at lyngsat and I am thinking of Sly Germany on 19.2 E or Eutelsat 16 E?

The important thing is that I don't move my dish from current location because at the current settings it is working fine and I can get all channels even when it is raining.

Any suggestion or advice is apperciated.

19E. is very good.. most channels dual broadcast in english so movies and tv shows are fine.. you also have quality broadcasters like Canal+ there..

16E is ok with ITV partners and digitalb to name a few..

you would have to get a very slim lnb to be able to watch 13 and 16E..

    id personally opt for 19E

Is there a special type of LNBs called slim or you are talking about being slim LNb in orde to fit among other LNBs?

I just want to know what to buy to get this done.

      Thanks

because there is only 3 degree separation between the two satellites (13E & 16E) you have to buy two very slim thin alps LNB's then adapt them by shaving off a bit more with a stanley knife and file..

the pic linked below is from a set up with 3 slim then adapted alps LNB's to receive 13E, 16E and 19E

it is possible just a pain to setup

I am not an expert but I don't think it is possible due to dish needs moving to see 1 W, although I prefer 19 E on 1 W as Ops said earlier. Let's see what the experts say.

i think he can do it without cutting

13E & 16E will need 3 degree satellite sat dish monoblock

                for

13E & 19E will need 6 degree satellite sat dish monoblock

                easy to find on ebay

you cant run a monoblock then have other lnbs on the same dish.. read the whole post.. he's already got LNB's on his dish for 13E, 26E & 28E
