CT 5000 HD Combo Plus died

It is first time I tried to load SW 2... After loading the SW 208p firts, the STB rebooted and is staying now on "Start up" stage endlessly. No forward, no backward...
How to reanimate it? Thanks in advance!

1?Press and hold "menu" +2? boot the decoder(you return to default value) and recharge all(firmware etc)

When not work, only the same but with serial cable

P.s excuse me for my bad english, i hope that you understand me:-)

Thanks teno! I completely understand you. I did it already but now the CT stays on LOADER regime all time. No chance to contact via cable even. Does it mean that the device is now for trashcan?

Never lose hope .. the 208 has these problems for many 5000hd+, is a 207 with a fix for the reboot problem .. did not work fine .. what software uses for connect with the cable null modem? try to connect to run the decoder off (without power) and start it soon as you connect,if you can communicate you can solve
i have an other last soluction, but before test this one:-)

        Happy new year!

Everything is OK now. Simply com1 port of my laptop was out. 180p is back on CT and works well like before.
Happy new year to you too, teno!

this case seemed strange to me, well, I'm happy for you
remember that only in extreme cases, with your receiver you can try to recover it without replacing the flash, is complex but can be done

            bye
