sky + help

Hi i've been with sky for over 3years and have the std sky box,
id like to update to a sky + but as im already with sky i would have to fork out for multiroom.
is it possible to by a sky + of the net and us it instead of my std box.
if i was a new customer i would be offered the sky + box with out the extra payment for multi room.

That's what I did, bought a Sky+ box off E*ay, Then you just phone them up, tell them you have a replacement box and they re-pair your old card to the new box.

You will also need quad lnb and another cable if want to use sky+.
If so better to contact sky tell them you want to cancel see what they say or have a look at website .

Tell them you plan to leave. If you do not have a telephone socket adjacent the maximum you should pay is ?25 for a manual set up. Be careful you may get a Class A receiver which could be anything an obsolete model or a repaired one but it will be under warranty.
