    coax cable

hello i am wondering what is the longest run of coax that i could use i know its a bit like how long is a piece of string, but a rule of thumb would be ok,reason i ask is my house faces south, but not keen on 1m + on front wall, back garden on a pole is favorite about 80-90 foot run
    thanks

you should be alright at 30 metres even up to 70meters with good quality cable.

I have my dish at the bottom of the garden on 12 foot scaffolding pole and my cable run is about 35m. Works fine without any signal issues.
