    Fortec LNB with Motorised Dish

Rigged up a new M**plins motorised dish with Fortec LNB. Couldn't get a thing. Fitted a replacement LNB same brand and again - nothing - not even with a sat meter. Thought I'd cocked up the dish alignment and in desparation had a dish installer check it out. All was well with the alignment - 'twas an LNB problem. Replaced with a dual MSI unit for a result. M**lins refunded Fortec purchases without quibble. Installer chappie reckons some LNB's (including Fortec) lose signal through the motor head. Anyone else heard of this happening?

Fortec LNBs from maplin need excessive skewing. It is very hard to align correctly but we have done it twice with these LNB's. Took a while though.
