f connectors and cable

hi - i thought id run the shotgun cable from the dish to the reciever, however im about 3 metres short...can i use normal cable as used by virgin media...or does it have to be shotgun cable ?...ta

probably better staying with same cable.
when sky did my box they used 2 single cables.

You have to change with coaxcial cable.
Don't use any other cable.
