Call back - Sly Uk while outside uk

Is it possible to do a call back when outside the UK? Can the call back number be changed to something like 0044800*** ?

yeah it can!! theres a gadget you can plug into the phone socket and the box calls back as if its based in the uk...but i cant remember what they are called....

Is it possible to change the call back number? I understand the number is a free 0800 or 0808 . Will the secret installer menu allow one to change this call back number?

its called a Digidialer and you can order box office events from abroad,or indeed pair a new card from abroad to a box...but they are quite expensive..i dont know of any codes u can enter to do it without this gadget...

there was a way years ago of getting free box office movies by changing the number on the box. cant find at the mo, ill keep searching

I use RING2SKYPE instead of a landline. Basically its free, they ring a land line then enter an extension and it rings your skype

But I don't have sky. might be worth a try.
