can find channel on hotbird 13.0e

    Guys,

I am really confused and really need your some help as I'm tearing the little hair I got left on my head.

I have a dish pointing to 13.0e (hotbird) and each time I do a channel search on my dm500 it fails to pick up the TV channel (walf) on frequency 11938h/27500. I know this channel exist and five of my friends who also have a satelite dish pointing hotbird 13.0e but own different boxes mainly technomate can pick this channela and are able to watch this channel using the same Viaaccess card I have.

I took my dreambox to their houses and did a channel search but fail pick up the channel at al five houses.

The channel is definitely listed on both the pli jade software built baclk on 28 December 2009 and the latest openly night built a few days ago.

Can someone please please help as I have a ?100 viaaccess card I am unable to watch at home

    Many thanks

    Ps I use pli jade

      It's on 9 east, not 13 east.

as "fearona"says waif is on 9E. 11.938 H 27500 on hotbird is not listing waif and does not seem to be a viaccess TP.what channels are you trying to get with your card?

ps can you use std font as black on blue is almost unreadable.

            Thanks guys

sorry about the background earlier. No I am not in France - I am in UK.

Can someone with a dreambox and eurobird 9.0e confirm if they are getting walfTV 11938h/27550? I know is a paid channel - paid ?100 for it and still no luck getting the channel even when I took my dm500 to a friend's house a did a search on his eurobird 9.0 dish.

I get all the channels on 9.0e but not the walf TV channel.

Can someone please help. As posted before my friends with technomate boxes can get this channel on eurobird 9.0e but if not happening for me on two different dm500 boxes.

PS - I got a satelite guy coming to fix the eurobird dish for me this weekend and just wanted to make sure that it will definitely come on the dm500.

            Many Thanks

I have a TM600 and it is enigma 1 same as DM500 and I receive it 84% sr so very strong.
              11938 H 27500 not 27550 as posted by yourself.

Its just a thought and I know nothing about DMs but are you certain you have that transponder in the boxes data base?

Have you tried a up to date satellites.xml as this will have all updated transponders.

                      Thanks

                      Hi,

How do I add a TP ? I guess that means a transporter?

I meant to type 27500 and not 27550.

Are you saying that Enigima 1 should pick up the channel?

Can you confirm if you are seeing walf tv on eurobird9.0e or Hotbird 13.e or on bith?

The reason I ask is that WalfTV moved from 13.0e to 9.0e but some of my friends are getting the channel on just 9.0 and not on 13.0e ad whilst others are still getting the channel on 13.0e

Ps Don't worry that the channel is srambled because I a via -acces card.

                      Many Thanks In advance

waif is definitely on 9E I have just done a scan of 11.938 H on 13E and waif does not show up.you should have a menu in your box somewhere enabling you to input individual transponders find it then as fearona says scan it and waif should be one of the channels found.
