Smargo Card Reader

A little help needed please, or a point in the right direction would br great.

I have just purchased Smargo card reader and would like some help on what to do next to get my DM800 HD to read my s*y card
I am current running NabiloBlackHole v0.12 and CCcam 2.1.3

i Have not altered any thing yet in the Ccam.cfg file althou when i did open it up with notepad it just seems to show a lot of double dutch writing starting with some thing like(# CCcam team uvadi CCcam v2.1.2

most of whats in the cccam.config is a load of codswallop but there is some usefull info in there also, if anything like the 500 you will need to get the boxkey from your original skybox and enter in there to open the premium channels up

OK how do i go about doing that?

Don't open cccam.cfg with Notepad, it will not display the file correctly. Use drambox control centre and after you connect ot the box go to FTP abd edit the cccam.cfg file

Ok Downloaded Dcc and opened Cccam that looks alot better, what next?

Anyone have trouble setting the kernel to dreambox in the smartreader software using vista? i think the drivers have installed correctly for the card reader (windows installed them automatically)?

Ok this is where i am at managed to change the kernel setting to dreambox, had to use Windows Xp (would not change using Vista)

The channels are now clearing but only the FTA ones , i am having trouble collecting the information to create a boxkey to clear the movies.
had a look under my HD box and the S/n is 17 digits long, and from the menu in the Sly setings the serial is 10 digits long
Can someone correct me if these are right?

Take the 10 digits go here and put them in the bottom box and hit the button
if it returns anything thats less than 8 digits long,
add zeroes to the beginning of it to make it up to 8 and there you have it

Ok after alot of reading yesterday i finally got got the smargo reader to work with my s*y card and is now clearing the premium movie channels (Yippee)

What i ended up using was a programme called Dream box config creator v0.9.0 and it did just the job all in one.

how did u install the drivers i have ftp drivers to temp but when i install them it says nothing to install.
