How do you tune sky box to get free to air tv

you cant really tune a sky box as such because it only has fixed symbol rates of 22000/27500 but if you want to tune in the extra regional versions of bbc/itv stations then you can using the add channels function in the menu,s but these channels wont be stored in the epg channel list. which channels do you want?, as a sky box should give you the fta and ftv channels already if you still have a card thats lapsed.

you shouldnt have to tune any channels in with a sky box as its all done automatically. which channels are you looking for? bbc, itv, kids tv cbs channels shopping? can you give some more info. what set-up are you using? dish,box ect

you can get foreign FTA channels with s/rates of 22000 or 27500 by the other channel method, but its a real pain and not worth doing as the dish has to realigned by hand,or moved by another proper sat box via a motor.
