Cards for sky ?

Before i start im sorry if this is a noob question but i have searched and didn't come up with what i wanted.

I have looked around the forums and noticed that you can use card readers for for doing certain cards but are these cards usable directly with sky box's ? or do you have to go the full nine yards and get a dish box etc?

Im just looking for options as i have just found out that cable will eventually be no good and having two teenage daughters in the house i don't fancy the aftermath when it goes

If someone could please point me in the right direction i would be really grateful.

if you want sky the best way to get it is go to sky. you can get it if you pay someone a fee to share their sky sub but not recommended unless its kept within a group of family or friends. you wont get the info from here as we dont discuss this here at dk, your going to have to do some searching on the internet for it and believe you me theres loads of it. good luck
