What Channels?

Hi all, I am after getting set up with a motorised dish but was wondering what channels I would recieve and would they be in english. Also from looking through this site I am thinking the dream box DM 500 would be the best bet and I see they are doing a HD one in march so should I wait and get one of these. I am doing this to replace my cable box. Please advise.

Only sky uk provides full english , other providers are hit And miss.
You will only get digitv, viaccess 2.3 channels And free to air unless you are willing to cardshare. Talk is banned here. Google it

So, I am sorry to sound daft about this but are these fta or can they be unscrambled as I see you can buy viaccess cards and digitv cards and are quite expensive.

certain channels can be opened with emulator/keys but most need a c/s line or a card. there are also alot of fta channels, there is alot of crap but also some gems.

So what about the football channels for 3pm saturday. Do you need a cs for them or can any be opened with keys?

at the moment digi-tv@1west is open with keys but is in the process of switching to n3, you can find live fapl games on nova sports and eurosport 2 ro/hu and a couple of others. at the moment things are in transition so get what you can / while you can via emu/keys but look into c/s and make sure your stb has a lan connection. you could also try a omnia card/millenium card. this game we are in is a constant battle between the broadcasters and hackers with highs and lows but with a motorised dish and good receiver you will always find something to watch. regards mdt

You will find every game that's on sky or espn on nova sport 1w, and 2-3, 3pm kick offs on 1w normally 1 on nova sport (english commentary) and others in foreign

at the moment yes you can but they are in the process of changing over to n3 so enjoy it while it lasts
