    Yikes. Sky bill and half price offer!!!!!

    Ok. Am not wanting to panic!!!!

    Ordered sky last week with half price code etc.

    Fitted yesterday and all working fine.

    Just logged onto Sky online and says first bill is ?58.50.

    Anyone else found this. Nervous to call incase they tell me off!!!

    call them and find out mate did u get your m n s vouchers ? dont forget you have 7 days to cancel

      Not got vouchers yet, think it says will be sent up to 14 days!

      Am going to call, maybe cancel if they dont change. Just wondered if any one else has had this, or seen the half price on screen.

        correct me if im wrong but i was told my first two bills would be very close together because you pay in advance but ring them they dont bite

          Well, what a bag of *****.

          Called them and they have no record of the half price code, even though they confirmed this last week when I called.

          There is nothing they can do and it's ?58. Also, takes up to 8 weeks to trace a call I made (bet it would be quicker if they needed it), and no gaurentee it will be there.

          Said I want to cancell, just got fine, please write to tell us this, which I will do.

          Sods. Done over here. Anyone else had this.

            Called the cancellation line number, and again, no sign of the code on my order. Reaaly odd, as it was on their system last week!!!

            Have emailed to cancell. I may have been tempted to stay if they offered a few months half price, but not a thing.

            Have read on another forum peoples bill's being full price.

            Anyone else have this problem or just me?

              Mine is due to be installed next week, just checked my bill online and found this:
              "We have suspended billing on your account while we investigate an error. You do not need to contact us regarding this; we are working to address the error as quickly as possible."

                Give them a call mate, ask what you are going to be billed (as I did), so you know what you will be charged.

                Like I say, was on the system last monday as ?26, bur no record of it ever showing now!!

                  I'll wait till they have installed, if I then have to cancel at least I'll have a dish set up ready to get d-box & cs!

                          Cheers yorkslad, I have, but they say it's not much use as they have my order history up and no sign of this code.

                          And it's just about the only time I have not taken a screen print of my order.
